An End of Life Doula is there to support someone who is dying and their loved ones. They provide compassion, a sense of calm and normality as much as possible.

Soul Midwives are non-medical, holistic companions who guide and support the dying in order to facilitate a gentle and tranquil death.

The roles are similar, however a Soul Midwife will have a more spiritual and therapeutic role than an End of Life Doula who may be more practical/task orientated. However both focus on high quality bespoke holistic care of the dying and those important to them.
